Research Interests

My research interests lie in the field of social identity and intercultural contact. I have investigated whether successful experience between host-families and international students can be explained by personality and value fit.
My future research plans are to build upon the foundation of my MSc research to further examine what domains of national identity and intergroup contacts are most important in narrowing psychological distance which promotes forgiveness and reconciliation in post-conflict relationships.
